We know about the flap about Chinese toys having too much lead in their paint. Now, however, Congress in its infinite(simal) wisdom, banned all toys with any amount of lead. With the toy industry in the dumps, $2Billion worth of children's goods are removed from shelves. Incredible details:Books have been withdrawn because of the "fear" that children will "lick the print off the pages." The latest is children's motorcycles withdrawn for "fear" that the children will lick "the gears on the bikes."
It has been suggested that we should "let Darwin prevail."
