"Palestinian" insincerity is finally clear and incontrovertible (but Obama may still deny it).

The Palestinian idea of a "two-state solution" is a sham. Their goal is a Palestinian state that is Islamist and free of Jews, beside an "Israel" which is NOT JEWISH but, rather, one which will be demographically dominated by "returning and polygamously-prolific Muslims." (Of course, their idea of "returnees" counts the third generation of millions who might be traced back to the actual number who might have left in 1948-- fewer than the Jews forced out of Arab countries at the same time.)

Basic disagreement concerning the two-state solution: the Palestinian refusal to recognize the State of Israel as the national state of the Jewish people has resurfaced, as it did at the Annapolis meeting ***("resurfaced" or been clarified; it's always been there.)***
Overview.
The Israeli media have reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told George Mitchell , the American envoy to the Middle East, that the Palestinian Authority had to recognize Israel as a Jewish state before a discussion of the two-state solution (Israeli Radio Channel 2, IDF Radio, April 17, 2009). The prime minister's office made it clear that “the prime minister has never set that as a pre-condition for the opening of negotiations and dialogue with the Palestinians” (Prime Minister's office, April 20, 2009 ). After meeting with Mitchell on April 16, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that Israel expected an unequivocal commitment from the international community regarding not only issues of security but regarding Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people (Israeli Foreign Ministry website)...The Palestinian Authority's intense objection to recognizing Israel as a Jewish state, expressed with the formation of the new Israeli government, is not new ...

However the Obama administration ( "advised" by such anti-Israel zealots as Samantha Powers ) decides to deal with this salient issue, it is clear that history is replete with evidence that past American administrations were unambiguous and unsparing in their support for a JEWISH homeland.
