Obama sounds better when overseas than at home; good, in fact.

To do better domestically, President Obama can learn from his performance in Europe

Most impressive was Obama's straight talk about the need to combat terrorism to a mostly French and German audience...  "It is important for Europe to understand that even though I'm now President and George Bush is no longer President, Al Qaeda is still a threat, and that we cannot pretend somehow that because Barack Hussein Obama got elected as President, suddenly everything is going to be okay," he told his youthful audience.

"Al Qaeda is still bent on carrying out terrorist activity. It is - don't fool yourselves - because some people say, well, you know, if we changed our policies with respect to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, or if we were more respectful toward the Muslim world, suddenly these organizations would stop threatening us. That's just not the case."

Wow. That's the Obama we desperately need at home. ...Here's hoping that's the President we get when Obama returns home.
