They could have bombed Nazi concentration camps and the railways that supplied them but instead chose not to, the newspaper claimed...****As early as August 1942 the Nazis' plan for the Final Solution was known. The Brits were worried that they didn't know where to dispose any significant number of Jews saved (probably the Arabist factor ). Churchill, at least, approved raiding Auschwitz and the rail lines leading to the camps but his directive was undermined by deliberate bureaucratic obstruction.What Roosevelt's excuse was is still not clear.****
