Good for them. Todd Stroger was never qualified for this post and has heavily abused his position from lying about his father's condition to raising the sales tax to hiring 65 of his relatives....

They endorsed him last time - Daley, Obama, Rod, everyone, and now that the heat's on, they are setting him adrift. He did only what they wanted him to, and the ones who put him there to carry out their wishes need to be voted out also....
****This guy didn't even rise to the level of political hack ( that was his father, whose fatal illness was hidden from the voters until after the primary was over so that the son could skate in.) He got the enthusiastic endorsement of Barack Obama although the guy who came in second to the father was much better qualified and available. Now, of course, although the Chicago machine usually protects its own, Obama et al throw this loser under the bus but only after he has done enormous damage to Cook County.It's no wonder Obama's appointments have been so questionable: his record, short as it is, has never been different.****
