Good-bye "special relationship" with the U.K.

****Obama didn't like Great Britain anyway,as shown by his gratuitous snubs of the Queen and Brown. (He is first a citizen of the world and then probably next owes allegiance to Kenya, so he he regards the Brits as oppressive colonialists.)The Lockerbie episode provides the coup de grace:although he probably doesn't object to appeasing Muslim terrorism, most Americans still do.****

Lockerbie bomber: A grievous blow to the Special Relationship British security will be harmed by the Megrahi affair, argues Irwin Stelzer...****Of course, British appeasement of Muslim terrorism predates even Obama's ( at least as President.)****

Government renames Islamic terrorism as 'anti-Islamic activity' to woo Muslims By JAMES SLACK Daily Mail 17 January 2008
Ministers have adopted a new language for declarations on Islamic terrorism. In future, fanatics will be referred to as pursuing "anti-Islamic activity".
Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said that extremists were behaving contrary to their faith, rather than acting in the name of Islam.****Smith's theological credentials, specifically Islamic credentials, come from where?****
Security officials believe that directly linking terrorism to Islam is inflammatory, and risks alienating mainstream Muslim opinion... ****Most of whom already condone terrorism, suicide bombing and adoption of Sharia in Britain. The next, subsidizing the fox to guard the henhouse is even more base.****

Muslim groups get £70m to tackle extremism
Joanna Sugden and agencies From Times Online October 31, 2007
Muslim groups will receive £70 million in Government funds to help tackle extremism in "ungoverned spaces" such as internet chat rooms and snooker halls.
Hazel Blears, Communities Secretary, said that the money will be targeted at Muslim communities and rejected suggestions that the funding discriminated against other faith groups...Ms Blears defended the Government’s decision to give the cash to Muslim rather than Christian or Jewish groups. “There is support for faiths across Government, but let’s be honest about this - what we are about is saying that we have a problem of radicalisation and extremism in a small minority of areas and communities.”...****So let's try to buy them off. Admittedly, the British experience in paying blackmail hasn't been good but there's always a first time.****
