Securitization of corruption: the PMA scandal brewing

http://tinyurl.com/qc4eco Pelosi's Pork Problem The PMA scandal could make Abramoff look like a piker.
Incredibly, the innovative minds in Washington have invented a new kind of corruption. Instead of earmarks going to a legislator's home district ( and being noticeable AFTER someone has parsed through the reams of legislation irrelevant to it), one of John Murtha's toadies set up a brokerage called PMA to allow earmarks to be made for clients of PMA in return for campaign contributions with the earmarks having no obvious link to the legislators' home districts. More than 100 legislators are being investigated as part of this scheme, too clever by half.
