Not only was Carter a disaster during his time as President; he also set the stage for much of what is wrong and dangerous in the world today with special reference to Iran and North Korea.His Nobel Prize was undeserved ( even by the poor standards of Peace Prizes )since he did little more than provide a venue for Sadat and Begin AFTER they had initiated their negotiations without any input from him. It was revealed that the Nobel itself was intended as a swipe at the Bush Administration rather than for anything Carter did. In his Nobel speech, Carter distorted history by gratuitously and falsely inserting "all" in his restatement of Resoltion 242 although he knew that the deletion of the word was the result of extensive negotiatios and compromise.
