Palin may graciously accept Letterman apology but others do not.

Palin was gracious enough to accept DL's "apology" "on behalf of her family and all young women..." but Letterman's apology still falls short of expiating what he really did wrong. The issue is not whether he intended the older or the younger daughter ( although the scripted and recorded nature of his program, and his staff, make this putatively poor research not credible ): targeting the younger daughter just made the sin worse. It's not clear that even Alex Rodriguez even appreciated the implication of casual rape of someone half ( or less than half ) his age (dalliance with Madonna puts the shoe on the other foot!) but was circumspect enough to keep quiet since it was no fault of his. There is a website formed:
http://www.firedavidletterman.com/
to address long-term what CBS might otherwise think is a short-term boost to Letterman's ratings vis-a-vis Conan O'Brian. Signing on might indicate to network TV what the real issues are.
