Carl Sagan is said to have told of a lecture he was giving on the earth, solar system, etc. He was interrupted by a little old lady who insisted "THE EARTH LIES ON THE BACK OF A GIGANTIC TURTLE." Replying as gently as he could, he said "But Madame, what supports the turtle?" "YOU CAN'T FOOL ME; IT'S TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN."
It can now plausibly be said of the Democrat Senators: IT'S CLOWNS, ALL THE WAY DOWN.
