Our Hawaii-born, yet unAmerican, President.

****Obama shares few mainstream "American" values, doesn't believe in American exceptionalism, refuses to identify America's enemies and extends a hand to them while disdaining and insulting our traditional friend and allies. He actually shares little of any sort of American experience. His youthful years in Hawaii and Indonesia are hardly typical of any American demographic; despite indulging in identity politics of the most blatant kind, he actually shares little of the black experience in America. Raised by a white mother, an Indonesian stepfather and white grandparents, educated in a tony private school in Hawaii and several schools in Indonesia, Occidental College then transferring for an Ivy-League veneer to Columbia for two years and, ultimately, Harvard Law School. If anything, he simulates the experience of radicals like Saul Alinsky, influential but hardly American at his core. He seems to share antipathies with Kenya and with the Muslim world and admits ( actually declaims ) that he is setting about to transform America. ****

The Alien in the White House The distance between the president and the people is beginning to be revealed. By DOROTHY RABINOWITZ WSJ Editorial Board
The deepening notes of disenchantment with Barack Obama now issuing from commentators across the political spectrum were predictable. So, too, were the charges from some of the president's earliest enthusiasts about his failure to reflect a powerful sense of urgency about the oil spill.
There should have been nothing puzzling about his response to anyone who has paid even modest critical attention to Mr. Obama's pronouncements. For it was clear from the first that this president—single-minded, ever-visible, confident in his program for a reformed America saved from darkness by his arrival—was wanting in certain qualities citizens have until now taken for granted in their presidents. Namely, a tone and presence that said: This is the Americans' leader, a man of them, for them, the nation's voice and champion. Mr. Obama wasn't lacking in concern about the oil spill. What he lacked was that voice—and for good reason...

The Smallest President By Geoffrey P. Hunt
Would someone remind us again why the nation elected this man to be president? A man with no resume, a man with no experience in running anything other than a political campaign, a man who is ignorant of history, economics, and technology? A man who is shallow and lazy? A man who shares neither character nor temperament with the American people in this vast republic? How did this happen?...//

Obama’s Press Conference: Missing Flags?
...Did anybody notice at President Obama’s Press Conference on the Deep Water Horizon disaster than something was missing in the background?...The American Flag was missing behind. Why? Behind him was just yellow curtains, and a couple of gold columns with chandeliers....looked at all photos of many press conferences (not press briefings) of past presidents as far as I could go and low and behold the American Flags stood proudly behind the President or off to the side. What was the reason for this? This was Obama’s first formal press conference since July of 09 which at that conference were U.S. Flags present...
