Pundits keep asking why Obama pushes such crazy things

that are unpopular, e.g. suing Arizona, refusing to secure the border,letting the bureaucrats impede the Gulf cleanup, telling NASA that the main mission is outreach to reassure Muslims that they are great in science, etc etc Of course no one dares imply he's a "Manchurian Muslim" out to destroy Western civilization.

Why not just consider that the guy is nowhere near as intelligent as he's cracked up to be? Despite going to the toniest private school in Hawaii he didn't get into Columbia directly, has hidden his record of courses and grades but he didn't make Phi Beta Kappa, didn't graduate with honors, was only ELECTED President of the Harvard Law Review (by the many other editors), has no academic publications, was never a "professor" at Chicago or anywhere else, doesn't understand economics, history or math (even boasted that he never took calculus) and keeps doing and saying stupid things.

Perhaps he's just an ideologue, and not a smart one.
